An excellent option to stay in Funchal, Madeira. The flat is in the centre. Everything is close. The apartment was even bigger as shown on the photos (which is good). It is a newly equipped apartment. We received it in a very, very clean condition. Everything in order, in the bathroom, in the kitchen, in bedrooms. The hostess Maria is a spectacular person, very helpful and gave fantastic tips on what to do in Funchal! They also helped us when we had problems with our rent-a car. They gave us a feeling like we are at home and welcomed us as a part of their familly. We are very lucky and thankful that we could be their guests. From this experience I think we will never go to another apartment anymore. Madeira Better Together in Funchal is the best! I definitely recommend to everyone. I wish to give them more than 10 stars.

Maria ist eine sehr liebevolle Gastgeberin, die sich um jedes Anliegen schnell gekümmert hat. Sie hat uns einige wertvolle Tipps gegeben und war sehr gut erreichbar. Wir konnten sogar sehr viel später auschecken. Die Wohnung ist neu und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Alles ist blitzblank sauber und duftet nach Frische. Die Betten sind total bequem und es gibt ausreichend Handtücher. Eine Waschmaschine ist direkt in der Wohnung inklusive Waschmittel verfügbar. Der Checkin mit ihren Söhnen war sehr unterhaltsam und lustig :) Die Lage der Wohnung ist einfach genial, denn die Altstadt ist fußläufig in 3-5 Minuten erreichbar und man findet dort Restaurants, Cafes, Supermärkte, Obstgeschäfte und Boutiquen. Dennoch liegt die Wohnung absolut ruhig und man kann ungestört schlafen. Wir empfehlen auf jeden Fall den Garagenplatz von Maria dazu zu buchen, da es nur ca. 2 Minuten entfernt von der Wohnung ist. Und wir empfehlen Maria zu 150% an die Community. Vielen Dank Maria ❤️🙏🏼

We stayed for 1 week at the apartment, and we felt we could stay there forever! The location is perfect, close to the city center, but not 'in the action' of the city center. We had a car and we could arrange with Maria to have private parking for the week, which was very convenient because I don't think I would have been able to find one without it. The apartment is very clean, have a nice view with a lot of daylight and we had everything we needed. Maria was very helpful and gave us great recommendations. Her responses were very quick! If we come back to Madeira, I would definitely try to book this same apartment for our next stay!
